i loved that i could easily stroll to the ohakune tavern and magic chilli, both just a few steps away from the hotel, allowing me to enjoy the local food scene without any hassle.

Everything was simply good. Appreciated Ohakune, the hotel was stunningly beautiful close to everything you need in ohakune which was good after doing tongoriro crossing. Had a really great stay overall, the room I stayed in was new-fashioned with the fridge, a shared bathroom plus fresh looking decor. Amazing breakfast and the staff was super-friendly. The location was great, only 5 minutes walk to Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park. Further, it was just next door to cafe and restaurants, walk trail and kids park.

Loved the shared lounge with a fireplace, perfect for cozy chats. The views of Mount Ruapehu from here were fine. A game of billiards in the games room was really fun! Don't miss out on the nearby bike trails either.
